The Man Who Loved Women

At a cemetery in Montpellier, mourners gather for the funeral of Bertrand Morane, where everyone present is a woman. In a series of flashbacks, Bertrand's life and love affairs are told through his own writings as he attempts to write an autobiographical novel. As he recounts his numerous conquests, including a prostitute, a beautiful mother who ignored him, and a passionate but unstable lover, the lines between reality and fantasy blur, leading to a poignant conclusion about the nature of love and happiness.
