Rock the Casbah

The film follows Sofia as she returns for her father's funeral and reunites with her family, including her estranged sisters Miriam and Kenza, and her mother Aicha. Inner problems are quickly revealed, particularly Sofia's critical views on her sisters' marriages and her own divorce. The family dynamic is further complicated by the revelation that Sofia's half-brother Zakaria is Moulay Hassan's son, making him Sofia's biological brother. Ultimately, the entire family comes together to reconcile and accept their complex relationships with each other.
