The Ruthless

Santo Russo (Riccardo Scamarcio), a young Calabrian man, is wrongly imprisoned and finds an unlikely education in crime while serving time with his friend Slim (Alessio Praticò). After his release, Santo becomes embroiled in the Milanese underworld, befriending Mario Barbieri (Alessandro Tedeschi) and eventually forming a partnership with Slim. As he rises through the ranks of organized crime, Santo must navigate the complex world of heroin smuggling and ultimately choose to cooperate with law enforcement.
