A former Weather Underground activist goes on the run from a journalist who discovers his identity. When ambitious reporter Ben Shepard seizes an opportunity to break a national story by uncovering Jim Grant's true past as a radical militant wanted for a 1980 bank robbery and murder, Jim must find his ex-lover Mimi, the one person who can clear his name, before the FBI catches up with him. With the help of old friends from the Weather Underground, Jim navigates a complex web of secrets and consequences from his radical past to protect his young daughter Isabel and regain her trust.
