"Robby Müller: Living the Light" is a documentary that uses thousands of Hi8 video diaries, pictures, and Polaroids taken by Robby Müller during his career as a director and cinematographer to create a fluid cinematic continuum. The film intertwines these images with excerpts from his oeuvre, accompanied by music composed by Jim Jarmusch. Müller himself appears alongside other long-time collaborators like Wim Wenders, Lars von Trier, Agnès Godard, and Jim Jarmusch also narrates the score for the film.
