The Croods follows the prehistoric family as they navigate a treacherous landscape and encounter a more evolved caveman named Guy, voiced by Ryan Reynolds. Grug's patriarchal instincts clash with Guy's ingenuity, leading to comedic misunderstandings and heartwarming connections between Eep, the teenage daughter, and Guy. As the family faces natural disasters and near-death experiences, they begin to adapt and evolve, finding a new sense of purpose and belonging on a tropical mountainside.
