Born in Flames

In near-future New York, ten years after a socialist revolution, women organize a feminist uprising as equality remains unfulfilled. The film follows two groups of women, led by Honey and Adele Bertei, who use pirate radio to voice their concerns to the public. A world-traveling activist is arrested, sparking a series of events that bring together different perspectives on sexism and oppression. As tensions escalate, the women take direct action, including joining a Women's Army and broadcasting from stolen vans, culminating in a dramatic bombing of the World Trade Center antenna.
