Tiko and the Shark

In this 1962 French-Italian co-production, a young Polynesian boy named Ti-Koyo forms an unlikely bond with a baby shark that he raises as a pet, sharing its adventures with his island playmate Diana. As the three grow up together, their paths diverge in unexpected ways, leaving Ti-Koyo and Diana to confront a transformed world where the shark has grown into a formidable man-eater amidst the encroaching of civilization on the tropical island.
