The Strangler of Blackmoor Castle

A 1963 West German thriller film directed by Harald Reinl and starring Karin Dor as Claridge Dorsett, Harry Riebauer as Inspector Jeff Mitchell, Ingmar Zeisberg as Judy, Walter Giller as Lord Edgar Blackmoor, and Rudolf Fernau as Lucius Clark. The film is based on a novel by Bryan Edgar Wallace and was part of a trend of British-set thrillers inspired by his father Edgar Wallace's work. It was shot at the Spandau Studios in Berlin and features black-and-white sets designed by Werner Achmann.
