The Deep End

Margaret Hall (Tilda Swinton), a mother living in Lake Tahoe, California, discovers her high school senior son Beau has been having an affair with 30-year-old nightclub owner Darby Reese. When Darby is found dead on the beach after a violent confrontation with Beau, Margaret must navigate a complex web of lies and corruption to protect her child, all while dealing with her own personal demons and the strain of being a single parent. As she tries to raise the money needed to keep Beau's reputation intact, Margaret's actions become increasingly desperate and morally ambiguous.
