The Devil's Double

The film is based on the true story of Latif Yahia, who was forced to become a body double for Saddam Hussein's sadistic son Uday. The movie follows Latif as he undergoes cosmetic surgery and practices emulating Uday's mannerisms and persona in order to perfect his resemblance to him. Latif tries to resist Uday's erratic behavior, but is eventually driven to desperation when his family is threatened. As the First Gulf War breaks out, Latif attempts to escape from Uday's clutches and ultimately confronts him at his birthday party, leading to a violent showdown that leaves Uday severely wounded but alive until his eventual killing by US forces in 2003.
