In this hilarious and satirical black comedy, Sacha Baron Cohen stars as Admiral General Aladeen, the ruthless dictator of the fictional Republic of Wadiya, visiting the United States in disguise. As he navigates New York City, Aladeen becomes embroiled in a series of absurd misadventures, including falling for a human rights activist and forming a personality cult around her. With its sharp wit and clever parody, The Dictator skewers the excesses of authoritarianism and the complexities of cultural identity, culminating in a heartwarming - if unlikely - romance.
