Stigmatized Properties

This 2020 horror drama tells the story of Yamano Yamame, a struggling entertainer forced to live in an accident property due to its low rent and newfound TV fame. What initially appears to be a normal room takes a dark turn as strange occurrences and mysterious phenomena disrupt his life. With a promising concept and strong performances from its cast, including Kazuya Kamenashi and Houka Kinoshita, the film builds eerie tension through individual house stories, but ultimately falls short of delivering the fear factor due to weak character development and unresolved plot elements.
