Wife! Be Like a Rose!

Kimiko Yamamoto (Sachiko Chiba) is a young Tokyo woman living alone with her poetress mother Etsuko (Tomoko Itō). When Kimiko travels to the countryside to convince her absent father Shunsaku (Sadao Maruyama) to return and act as the go-between for her upcoming marriage, she discovers that he is happy with his second family.
