Instinct

Nicoline, a single woman and renowned prison therapist, starts working at a prison hospital where she takes on the caseload of a previous counsellor who resigned. She meets Idris, a charismatic convict with a history of committing sexual violence, on the verge of being unsupervised paroled. Despite her colleagues' confidence in his behavior, Nicoline is unsettled by Idris's manipulative nature and finds him disturbing. As their professional relationship evolves into a complex personal one, Nicoline becomes obsessed with Idris, leading to a downward spiral that ultimately culminates in a traumatic event.
