The English Teacher

Linda Sinclair (Julianne Moore) is a passionate high school English teacher in small-town Pennsylvania, whose life is disrupted when former student Jason Sherwood returns after failing as a playwright in New York. With the help of drama teacher Carl Kapinas, they convince Jason to produce his play at the school, but their relationship and subsequent events lead to complications and a dramatic turnaround for Linda's career and personal life.
