Sugar Baby

Marianne Sägebrecht stars as Marianne, a lonely assistant to a funeral director in Munich, who becomes obsessed with a young subway conductor, Eisi Gulp's Huber, after spotting him on the commute. Through subterfuge and detective work, Marianne transforms herself to catch his attention, cooking regular meals and taking exercise to impress him. Their romance blossoms until Frau Huber interrupts their evening, leaving Marianne bruised and dazed on the dance floor. In the film's final scene, Marianne is seen standing alone on a train platform, holding out a candy bar as it approaches.
