As a seasoned air traffic controller, Kiefer Sutherland's character, Jack Harris, returns to his former profession after five years away, only to find himself at the helm of a crisis situation when a powerful storm threatens Phoenix airport on New Year's Eve. With a critical staff shortage and dwindling power supplies, Harris must navigate treacherous air traffic through severe turbulence, confronting the demons of a past tragedy that continues to haunt him.
