Prima che la notte

The film "Prima che la notte" (2018) tells the story of Pippo Fava, a Sicilian journalist who fought against the Mafia through his local newspaper in the 1970s and early 1980s. Fabrizio Gifuni plays Giuseppe Fava, the journalist who opens a new testata giornalistica to denounce corruption and illegal activity. With the help of his son Claudio (Dario Aita) and other young journalists, Fava creates a newspaper that dares to speak truth to power, despite intimidation from the Mafia.
