The Fault in Our Stars

Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley) is a 16-year-old cancer patient living with thyroid cancer that has spread to her lungs. Her mother sends her to attend a weekly cancer patient support group, where she meets Augustus "Gus" Waters (Ansel Elgort), a fellow member who loses his leg to bone cancer and bonds with Hazel over their shared struggles and love of books. The two embark on a whirlwind romance, including a trip to Amsterdam, before Gus's health takes a turn for the worse.
