Six-String Samurai

In a post-apocalyptic world where the Russians have taken over a nuked USA and Elvis is king of Lost Vegas, Buddy, a '50s rocker and wandering warrior rolled into one, too-cool package, sets out to succeed Elvis as King of Rock 'n' Roll. Armed with his six-string in one hand and his sword in the other, he's on a quest that takes him through the desert wasteland, where he saves an orphan named Kid from various dangers, including bandits, cannibals, and the relentless forces of Death. Along the way, Buddy and the Kid form an unlikely bond, with the Kid eventually becoming the hero who completes Buddy's journey and claims his place as King of Rock 'n' Roll.
