Michael, a struggling actor, dies right after a bad breakup and finds himself in singles Purgatory, where he must find his soul mate among other recently deceased single New Yorkers to cross over to the other side. With limited time to find true love, Michael navigates the new customs of a ghostly dating life. He meets Scarlett, a mysterious woman who guides him through this strange world.
