The Ghost Writer

A writer stumbles upon a long-hidden secret when he agrees to help former British Prime Minister Adam Lang complete his memoirs on a remote island after the politician's assistant drowns in an apparent accident. The Ghost travels to Old Haven on Martha's Vineyard, where Lang and his wife Ruth are staying at a complex with Lang's personal assistant, Amelia Bly. As the Ghost works on the book, he encounters anti-war demonstrators and activists who protest Lang's presence on the island.
