In the 2021 comedy film "Love Spreads," three songwriters – Kelly (Alia Shawkat), Patricia (Eiza González), and Jess (Chanel Cresswell) – navigate creative differences in Rockfield Studios as they work on their second album. Desperate producer Jamie (Julian Lewis Jones) clashes with label exec Julie (Dolly Wells) while keyboard player Alice (Tara Lee) tries to keep the band's harmony intact amidst personal struggles and conflicting artistic visions.
