Silver Skates

In 1899, Imperial Saint Petersburg transforms into a fairytale-like wonderland as its rivers and canals freeze over. Matvey Polyakov, an 18-year-old ice-skating courier, loses his job after being tardy but finds new opportunities with the Ice Gang, a gang of pickpockets led by "Alex". After a series of daring heists, Matvey meets Alisa Vyazemskaya, the tsarist minister's daughter who seeks to study science and chemistry despite societal expectations.
