"Doppelganger" (1993) is a spine-tingling mystery that blends romance and thriller elements, starring Drew Barrymore as Holly Gooding, a young woman implicated in a murder who flees to Los Angeles with a promising writer, Patrick Highsmith, as her roommate. However, it soon becomes apparent that she's been followed by an evil doppelganger - a killer identical to herself. As the story unfolds, Barrymore's charm and charisma are matched only by the eerie atmosphere and twists in this supernatural thriller.
