The Black Stallion Returns

"The Black Stallion Returns" is an 1983 adventure film about Alec Ramsay (Kelly Reno), who pursues his stolen horse "The Black" across the desert wilderness of Morocco and Algeria to reclaim him from a Moroccan sheik. Along the way, he meets Vincent Spano's character, Raj, who joins him on their perilous journey with Meslar (Woody Strode). The two eventually reunite with "The Black", but Alec must compete in the "Great Race" against the sheik to win his horse back, navigating obstacles and treacherous rivals along the way.
