Friendship's Death

A robot messenger, "Friendship" (Tilda Swinton), is sent to Earth as a peace envoy from another planet and ends up in Amman, Jordan during the Black September riots of 1970. Sullivan (Bill Paterson), a British journalist, finds her after she's found wandering without papers following a bombing and grants her refuge in his hotel room. Friendship tells him she's a robot, sparking conversations that examine the human condition. Their interactions explore a series of insightful and entertaining exchanges.
