Paulette

Paulette is a 2012 French comedy-crime film about a desperate elderly woman named Paulette (Bernadette Lafont) who turns to selling cannabis-infused cakes and biscuits after being forced out of her home due to unpaid bills. Her business unexpectedly gains popularity, but she faces threats from local dealers, including Vito's (Paco Boublard) boss, who kidnaps her grandson to get her cooperation. In a dramatic turn of events, Paulette's son-in-law Ousmane (Jean-Baptiste Anoumon) saves the day, and Paulette ultimately escapes France to start anew in Amsterdam, where she opens a cannabis coffee shop.
