The Great Buck Howard

Troy Gable (Colin Hanks) joins Buck Howard (John Malkovich), a fading mentalist, as his road manager, and together they embark on a journey across the country to revive Buck's career. Along the way, Troy is introduced to Valerie Brennan (Emily Blunt), who becomes romantically involved with him. As Buck's comeback gains momentum, he performs his signature trick of finding hidden money, which surprisingly works despite initial failures.
