The Great Train Robbery

In Victorian England, Edward Pierce (Sean Connery), a master thief, plans to steal a shipment of gold from a moving train. He recruits Robert Agar (Donald Sutherland), a safecracker, and his mistress Miriam (Lesley-Anne Down) joins the plot. The two thieves use various disguises and diversions to reach the gold, which is meant for British soldiers fighting in the Crimean War, before they are caught by the authorities during a chaotic train stop at Folkestone.
