Leaving Africa

"Leaving Africa" is a documentary film directed and written by Iiris Härmä, following the story of Riitta Kujala, a Finnish doctor who spent her career empowering women in Africa. The film documents Kujala's experiences as she faces opposition from the Ugandan government while running her sex-ed program during her final months in Africa.
