"700 Sharks" follows Laurent Ballesta and his international team as they venture to the Fakarava Atoll in French Polynesia to study a rare gathering of thousands of groupers during the full moon. With a focus on understanding how social behaviors govern this wild horde, the team uses advanced technology, including microchips and synchronized cameras, to observe and film the sharks from within.
