Strange Bedfellows

Two 'very straight' old timers, Vince Hopgood (Paul Hogan) and Ralph Williams (Michael Caton), claim to be a loving gay couple after falsely claiming same-sex status to take advantage of newly legislated tax laws in the small Australian town of Yackandandah. With the help of hairdresser Eric (Glynn Nicholas), they prepare for an interview with taxman Russell McKenzie (Pete Postlethwaite) and a visit to Sydney's gay club, while also navigating their complicated relationships and the scrutiny of their daughter Carla (Kestie Morassi) and her girlfriend Peta.
