Sharpe Sharpe's Peril

After the events of Sharpe's Challenge, Richard Sharpe is reluctantly drawn back into service as he and his comrade-in-arms Patrick Harper are tasked with escorting a young woman to the hill fort of Kalimgong, where her fiancé awaits. Their journey takes them through treacherous terrain, encountering hostile bandits and rival military forces led by General Sir Henry Simmerson, Sharpe's old enemy. As they navigate the dangers of the Indian plains, Sharpe must use his wits and battle-hardened skills to protect Marie-Angelique Bonnet, the woman he has come to care for, from those who seek to harm her.
