Don't Answer the Phone!

The film "Don't Answer the Phone!" is a 1980 American psychological horror film about Kirk Smith, a crazed killer who stalks and murders young women in Los Angeles, including those contacted by Dr. Lindsay Gale's radio show. Lt. Chris McCabe, played by James Westmoreland, leads the investigation to track down the serial killer, with the help of Sgt. Hatcher. The film opens with Kirk Smith killing a nurse before stripping her corpse, and he follows one of Dr. Gale's female patients, Carol, home from her therapy session, and tortures her to death.
