In this 1972 Spanish horror film, a young newlywed woman named Susan settles into her husband's family mansion after their honeymoon, but soon finds herself trapped in a maddening maze of unspeakable horrors inspired by the vampire novella Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. As she becomes increasingly detached from reality and succumbs to a sinister force, Susan's violent nightmares come true, leading to a blood-soaked and intense lesbian love affair that ultimately puts her husband's life in danger.
