In this action-comedy of a different kind, Dr. Lisa Leland, a brilliant but brusque surgeon, gets more than she bargained for when her life-changing cross-country drive is derailed in Normal, North Carolina. Her BMW wrecked, her ego bruised, and sentenced to community service as the town's doctor, Lisa must navigate a world without Wi-Fi, lattes, or credit cards - a far cry from the privileged lives of her new patients, the rich and famous she'll be treating in the Hamptons. But in this tiny town with big hearts, Lisa discovers what truly matters about life and finds herself transformed by the most unlikely of places.
