Third Man on the Mountain

Michael Rennie as Captain John Winter helps young Swiss man Rudi Matt (James MacArthur), whose father died on the mountain that killed him, conquer the Citadel in a climactic adventure. Based on the novel "Banner in the Sky" by James Ramsey Ullman, the film follows Rudi's determination to climb the mountain and make it to the summit with the help of Winter, Franz Lerner (James Donald), and Emil Saxo (Herbert Lom).
