A rock concert awakens the legendary monster Bigfoot, who goes on a rampage after its hibernation is disturbed by the noise. An environmentalist named Simon Quinn realizes the creature is the last of its species and tries to protect it from those who want to exploit or kill it. As the creature wreaks havoc, an event organizer named Harley Henderson tries to capitalize on its notoriety, but his plans are complicated by the arrival of the authorities and a group of activists determined to save the beast.
