In 1929, Edgar Faldo, a young professor in Cambridge, Massachusetts, assembles a group of friends and acquaintances to discuss the taboo topic of sex in an effort to scientifically analyze human sexuality. Two stenographers, Zoe and Alice, record the discussions, which attract a diverse cast of characters, including artists, writers, and eccentric individuals, all with their own perspectives on sex and desire. With wit and humor, Edgar facilitates the conversations, aiming for a frank and uninhibited exploration of these complex topics.
