The Immigrant

In 1921 New York City, a young Polish immigrant named Ewa is tricked into a life of burlesque and vaudeville, but a dazzling magician named Bruno tries to save her and reunite her with her sister who is being held in the confines of Ellis Island. As Ewa navigates this treacherous world, she must confront corruption, illness, and violence, all while searching for a way to escape her circumstances and find love and redemption.
