Dear Brigitte

Professor Robert Leaf (James Stewart), an absent-minded poet and accordionist, is forced to face the fact that his son Erasmus (Bill Mumy) is a math prodigy with little artistic talent of his own. The Leaf family lives on a houseboat in San Francisco, where they are devoted to the arts, but Erasmus's unique skills bring unexpected attention and pressure to conform to traditional expectations. As the situation becomes increasingly complex, the Professor must navigate his son's love for French movie star Brigitte Bardot and find a way to balance Erasmus's talents with his own values.
