Keshin

The film Keshin (1986) is a sensuous movie based on a literary work, starring Hitomi Kuroki as its heroine Kiriko. Daisaburo (Tatsuya Fuji), a 46-year-old literary critic, becomes smitten with the young hostess after spotting her in Ginza and offers to financially support her in exchange for her help. Under his tutelage, Kiriko grows in confidence and sophistication, but struggles with her love for Daisaburo, her dependence on him, and her desire for independence.
