In Los Angeles, a stripper is murdered, prompting a private detective and her ex-footballer boyfriend to team up to find her killer. As they dig deeper, they become entangled in a web of extortion, blackmail, and corrupt politics that lead them from the seedy underbelly of professional football to the highest echelons of American power. With high-octane action, witty one-liners, and a healthy dose of cynicism, "The Last Boy Scout" is a classic buddy action comedy film that explores the darker side of ambition and the consequences of being a hero.
