Young Wives' Tale

In post-war London, a shy woman must share a house with two couples, including Bruce and Mary Banning (Derek Farr and Helen Cherry) who let out rooms to Rodney and Sabina Pennant (Nigel Patrick and Joan Greenwood). The arrival of another young lodger, Eve Lester (Audrey Hepburn), and the return of Sabina's old beau intensify tensions in the crowded household. As comic situations arise, Sabina becomes infatuated with one of her roomers, leading to humorous interactions.
