In the gripping French crime drama "Oh Mercy!", a police chief and his recruit are left reeling when an elderly woman is brutally murdered on Christmas Eve in the troubled neighborhood of Roubaix. As they delve into the case, the two are confronted with a web of suspects that seems to stretch on forever, leaving them questioning everyone's innocence. Directed by Arnaud Desplechin and inspired by a 2008 documentary, this tense thriller pits instinct against evidence as it probes the darkest corners of human nature.
