A group of film buffs travel to the remote island of Fårö in search of Ingmar Bergman's legacy after his death, visiting his preserved house and learning about his life as a filmmaker. The documentary features self-portraits from some of Bergman's most notable colleagues, including Tomas Alfredson, Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, Harriet Andersson, and Pernilla August.
