Babel

The film "Babel" tells the story of four families from different continents whose lives are intertwined by a tragic event. In Morocco, two young boys accidentally shoot an American woman on a bus, leading to a chain of events that affects not only her but also her family in San Diego, California, where their nanny is struggling with her own issues. In Japan, a rebellious teenage girl named Chieko Wataya navigates her deafness and relationships with her father and two police detectives investigating a hunting trip she took to Morocco. Meanwhile, an American couple on vacation in Morocco and their Mexican nanny are also affected by the events that unfold.
