Stepfather II: Make Room for Daddy

Terry O'Quinn stars as Dr. Gene Clifford / Jerry Blake, a man institutionalized for being a serial killer after surviving a gunshot wound and stabbing at the end of the previous film. After escaping, he impersonates a marriage counselor and wins over single mother Carol Grayland and her 13-year-old son Todd, eliminating anyone who stands in his way to building the perfect family. Gene eventually marries Carol, but she begins to suspect that he is not who he claims to be, leading to a violent confrontation.
